- Heliot Europe and its subsidiary Heliot Slovenia – branded as “Sigfox Slovenia by Heliot Europe” – are actively participating at the “Bled Strategic Forum”
- The traditional gather is focusing on “The Future of Europe”
- IoT plays an ever-increasing innovation role in the digitalization of the logistics sector
Bled/Ljubljana/Munich September 2nd 2021 –Bled Strategic Forum has developed into the leading international conference in Central and South-Eastern Europe, offering a platform for expressing opinions on modern society and its future. Not only domestically, but also abroad the forum gained the reputation of a meeting place where participants can exchange their views openly, seeking solutions to economic and social challenges.
This is one of the reasons why Heliot Europe, the largest provider of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions on the Sigfox 0G network in Europe, is attending the forum. The group operates in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein, and since 2019 also in Slovenia. In just ten months the Slovenian team has already achieved a network coverage of 50 percent of the range planned for 2021/22.
“Bled Strategic Forum is a unique opportunity to meet and connect with regional and other European stakeholders that shape our present and future. We also see our role here,” says COO of Heliot Europe Tomáš Pavliček and continues: “Digitalisation is our common challenge and also our goal – in all areas of the economy, public and also private life. We have new, innovative, European solutions that can help Europe to progress faster, to improve its role and position in digital economy – improving competitiveness.”
In Heliot Europe they see an opportunity to work in both the public and private economic sectors. They enable digitalization also to classic, traditional infrastructures sectors, such as ports or railways. This is particularly important when it comes to cross-border business, where European countries still do not have unified standards and effective cross-border operability. That is why Heliot Europe also support the Three Seas initiative, where together with partners they provide IoT solutions from the Baltic, through the Black Sea to the Adriatic. The strategy is therefore clear, funds are defined and with its solutions Heliot has the answers to provide modern digital solutions for planned projects.
“At this year’s forum, we focused on digitalization of logistics and transport, which are extremely important for the efficiency of companies and their market competitiveness. At the same time they have a great impact on our space and our environment. In addition to efficient logistics planning, shortening routes and time, it is important to ensure the traceability of goods and shipments in real time, it is necessary to be informed about what is happening with shipments, it is necessary to ensure greater efficiency by reducing administrative tasks and enable cost control. We have the knowledge and experience of real projects that we can offer to our partners as a Group in the form of innovative solutions for the digital transformation of their logistics and transport sector. Our advantages are energy efficiency, 0G concept, long life cycle of devices and sustainable approach”, says Tomáš Pavliček.
