Sigfox is a global low-power wide-area network technology for the Internet of Things (IoT). It offers energy-efficient communication over long distances for the wireless connection of various devices and sensors. Sigfox is accessible via a single public network in more than 70 countries, which is operated by mobile network operators.<\/p>\n

Sigfox is an excellent choice for Track & Trace solutions in logistics and supply chain. LoRa (Long Range) enables data transmission over long distances and with low power consumption and connects devices and sensors in various applications via scalable networks. A network based on LoRa is called LoRaWAN (Wide Area Network). These independent networks are provided regionally by various local operators.<\/p>\n

Helium is a decentralized wireless network for IoT devices. It uses blockchain and a unique incentive system to create a global, low-power and cost-effective connectivity solution for various applications. As it is community-operated, the Helium network has good coverage in urban areas around the world, but does not have SLA.<\/p>\n
