  • Optimization of logistics services to meet sustainability and digital transformation goals
  • Ceremonial signing at the start of the pilot project
  • Slovenian Post uses innovative IoT approach with Sigfox 0G technology for tracking and geolocation of roll containers

Labege, France -Duringthe 0G Operator Days in Labege, France, Heliot Europe, represented by its COO Tomáš Pavlíček and the Country Manager for Slovenia, Blaž Golob, signed the contract with the Slovenian Post.

The innovative part of the pilot project relates to the monitoring of rolling containers using various technologies, including SIGFOX, to support sustainable logistics services.

Slovenian Post is one of the innovation leaders in the center of three European regions.

Mr. Tomáš Pavlíček explains: ¨The signing of this contract and also the negotiations with other European postal operators show that our solutions have the potential to become the industry standard for the monitoring of non-powered trolleys in the postal industry. Nevertheless, our goal is to connect millions of millions of reusable packaging units in all industries with our technology-independent agnostic embedded solutions in the coming years.¨

The signing was accompanied by Henri Bong, co-founder and co-CEO of UnaBiz, owner of Sigfox 0G.

“UnaBiz is pleased to witness another success story of Heliot Group’s highly scalable asset management solution. The project is a testament to our customers’ confidence in the 0G network and we look forward to supporting Heliot Group and its Slovenian customer in the nationwide deployment” said Mr. Bong.

With the support of the technical team from Heliot Europe Munich, the Prague IoT network optimization team and the expertise of BOX/ID, new services for optimizing logistics processes are being tested as part of the project.

An additional international dimension to the project will be provided by the Heliot Slovenia team, who will work with the client on site to ensure a smooth implementation of the pilot project.

The contract was signed at the “OG Operator Days” organized by UnaBiz, where 0G network operators from all continents met in France to discuss the challenges of massive IoT deployment and share their experiences with various digital transformation use cases involving LPWAN technology.
