The millionth commissioning marks the start of the largest deployment of Long Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) asset trackers in Europe to date, with major companies such as Deutsche Post DHL, Austrian Post and various car manufacturers and mobility providers in France, Germany, the Netherlands and many other European countries.

Since the successful launch of the Lykaner® asset tracker, the Alps Alpine team has been working on research and development to further optimize the portfolio of fifteen tracker variants with a battery life of up to twelve years. Today, Alps Alpine confirms its intention to reach the next milestone and produce a further 2.6 million trackers based on the materials acquired a year ago, in order to continue deliveries despite the current shortage of components.
